CU Expo 2011 is a Canadian-led Conference designed to showcase exemplars in Community-University partnerships worldwide, and to introduce creative ways of strengthening local communities.
The conference took place on May 10-14 at Waterloo Region: www.cuexpo2011.ca
Inspired by the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) , eight conference themes were expressed both in the local and global context. Presenters and delegates were encouraged to think about how these themes play out in contexts, and how they are related to broader regional, national, or international issues.
During various sessions the Bonn Science Shop presented its work in different fields, e.g. according to MDG Goal #2 „universal education“ with a poster session about ‚Soufflearning – an innovative learning and teaching methodology‘.
